Polyethylene Foam

Polyethylene Foam (PE)
Also known as PE, "Ethafoam", "StratoCell", "CelluCushion", "CelluPlank", etc..

Typically seen in white 2# density although black and blue are also available. 1.2#, 1.7#, 4#, 6# and 9# densities are also available in white as a standard (colors available as special runs). Polyethylene is supplied in "plank" stock. This material is either fully extruded to a length, width and thickness or laminated in 1/2" increments (e.g. StratoCell) to a thickness by length and width.

Polyethylene has excellent cushioning capabilities and is most often used where shipping damage is likely unless protection is given to the item. Polyethylene is also available in pink Anti-Static.

The above mentioned densities are also available in 48" wide bundles ranging in thickness' from 3/8" to 1/2".

This material is more expensive than EPS and PU, but is very effective where justified.

For any addition technical specifications please feel free to contact our sales department.
